• Chat Messages: In-game direct messages between friends are stored securely to allow messaging features to function.
• Connectivity Data: We monitor online status and heartbeats to ensure smooth real-time multiplayer connections.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data solely to:

• Provide and maintain Kross multiplayer matchmaking, leaderboards, and user profiles.
• Authenticate your account login and process password resets or verification emails.
• Deliver in-game notifications (e.g., when a challenge is received or tournament match is ready).
• Detect and prevent cheating, harassment, or violations of our Developer Program Policies.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We store your data as long as your account is active. You can request account deletion at any time directly through the Settings screen in the Kross app. Once deleted, all personal data (including email, username, and chat history) will be permanently deleted from our databases.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. All communication with our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are securely hashed before storage.

5. Children's Privacy

Kross is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
